About me

I am a member of the BACP, having qualified as a counsellor in 2022.  Since then, my practice has primarily been in a hospice, offering counselling for people with life-limiting illnesses, for people caring for someone with these, and those grieving after the death of a family member.

My primary training was integrative, and I'm trained in person-centred, Transactional Analysis, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches. This broad foundation allows me to tailor therapy in a way that genuinely fits your unique needs, supporting you in a way that will feel authentic and meaningful. In addition to my hospice work I bring extensive experience from working in the health and social sector in the UK, supporting people in a wide range of contexts, often facing very difficult and personal challenges.

I have also worked with clients who have brought a wide range of issues to therapy including:

• Abuse • Anger • Anxiety
• Bereavement • Burnout • Chronic Illness
• Cancer • Depression • Disabilities
• Family issues • Feeling sad • Getting older
• Health Anxiety • Jealousy • Loneliness
• Low Self-Confidence • Suicidal thoughts • Stress
• Trauma • Relationship problems • Work related stress
